Divide Gate Update
The existing Cordillera sign at the Divide entry has been removed to be refurbished. The sign will be replaced once refurbishing is complete.

Bravo! Vail Valley Music Festival in Cordillera
The Loge & Spa at Cordillera is hosting a Casual Classics Bravo! event free to the public Friday, 1 August at 5:30 p.m. in the Summit Ballroom.  Reservations are not required.  Doors to event open at 5:00 p.m.  Event will conclude at approximately 6:45 p.m.

2008 Rider Cup Fundraiser

Save the Date - CPOA Annual Meeting & Election
CPOA’s annual member meeting and election takes place Monday, 25 August at 9:00 a.m. at the Lodge & Spa at Cordillera. 
 
Ballots and proxy forms, along with candidate biographies, 2007 Annual Meeting minutes and financial statements were mailed to property owners at the beginning of July.  Candidates for the three open Board seats are Roger Magid, Rick Boyd, and Glenn Bourland.  Write-in candidates are also welcome.  For property owners who are unable to attend the meeting, proxies are due to the CPOA Board no later than 5:00 p.m. Friday, 22 August.  Those attending the meeting will have the opportunity to cast their vote at the meeting. Each property is allotted one vote in the CPOA election; therefore, property owners owning multiple parcels are entitled to a vote for each property. 
 
 
Cordillera Home & Garden Tour – Tickets on Sale Now!
The Cordillera Home & Garden tour will be held on Sunday, 7 September from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This year’s featured neighborhood is the Ranch. 
 
Tickets are on sale now for $30 per person. All proceeds benefit the Betty Ford Alpine Gardens and Habitat for Humanity.

River Access is Open! The River is running below 900 CFS so reservations can now be made to fish. Contact Fly Fishing Outfitters (FFO) to book your beat or trip.

TrailWise Guides 
Complimentary Trailhead Red Draw Trail Hike
The topic of this hike will be “Late Summer Wildflowers.” 
 
The hike will be held:
Saturday, 23 August from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. 
Meet at the Trailhead Parking Area.
 
This hike is rated moderate to difficult. Please bring water and a light snack. The maximum attendance for this hike will be 20.
 
For the more Adventurous Hiker; TrailWise Guides is offering the following hikes to Cordillera Property Owners for a fee:
Saturday, 9 August, promotional guided hike to the summit 13,000 ft. Notch Mountain in the Holy Cross Wilderness. The cost is $99 per person which includes transportation. Meet at Squaw Creek Cafe at 5:30 a.m. Return approx. 5:00 p.m.
 
TrailWise is requiring a THREE person minimum for the fee hikes. TrailWise does not provide lunch for these hikes. Please prepare properly with food, water and clothing.
